DMCA & Content Takedown Policy

1. Designated Contact for Notices

All takedown notices, copyright infringement claims, and illegal content reports must be sent to our designated contact:

We aim to acknowledge all notices within 72 hours and act on valid notices within 7 business days.

2. Copyright Infringement — DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on StoatBoard infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] containing all of the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g., "the artwork titled X published at [URL]").
2. Identification of the infringing material: The exact server page, bot page, review, profile, or other URL(s) on StoatBoard where the infringing content appears.
3. Your contact information: Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Good-faith statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
6. Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

⚠️ Submitting a false or bad-faith DMCA notice may result in legal liability. Please ensure your claim is valid before submitting.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of courts in France and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant obtains a court order to prevent restoration.

4. Reporting Illegal Content (LCEN / EU DSA)

To report manifestly illegal content (other than copyright infringement — e.g., child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, incitement to hatred, fraud), send a notice to [email protected] including:

• The exact URL(s) of the content on StoatBoard
• A description of why you believe the content is illegal, specifying the law or regulation violated
• Your contact information (name and email)

We will act immediately upon reports of manifestly illegal content, in accordance with Article 6-I-7 of the French LCEN.

5. Repeat Infringers

StoatBoard enforces a repeat-infringer policy. Accounts associated with multiple confirmed copyright violations or illegal content submissions will be permanently terminated.
